Subsea Construction And Flowline Lay Ship

The Acergy Discovery, built in 1990 as a dual purpose cable lay and subsea construction ship, joined the Acergy fleet in September 1997. She is a very versatile ship with a clear deck area of 1000 m2 and a 140 tonne crane.

She is also equipped with an 18 man 450 m saturation diving system, currently downrated to 200 m and remotely operated vehicles consisting of a 1000 m Scorpion Work Class ROV and an Observation class ROV. The Acergy Discovery has three below deck cable tanks, with a total capacity of 3894 tonne of cable or flexible flowlines. She is one of the best equipped subsea construction, flowline and cable lay ships in the market.
