Bonga

Work on the Bonga project was completed in 2005. The major challenge we faced – aside from the 1350 metre operational depth – was the task of hanging Dynamic Steel Catenary Risers to an FPSO at this depth – an operation never previously attempted. The successful installation of these risers underlined our ability to push the limits of undersea technology further than ever before, and our enhanced reputation for being able to deliver on complex projects led on to many more contract wins.
