Since joining Acergy in August 2005 he has also worked in the Aberdeen and Norway offices, on projects including Langeled where he was part of the team installing the two biggest spools ever deployed by the Acergy Eagle. GEDS ‘The GEDS is a great opportunity to learn about all aspects of Acergy’s core competencies, to get involved in a diverse range of experiences and to meet people from other regions of a similar mindset.’ ‘There are so many potential career paths to follow at Acergy and the GEDS helps in finding the right one for you.‘ Memory ‘My first offshore trip was two weeks onboard the Acergy Eagle for the Total Forvie North Project. I had only spent two weeks in the office prior to this so absolutely everything was new, but the crew were all very understanding and more than happy to explain things and answer any questions. I spent my time on the back deck getting involved, asking questions and making the captain tea!’ Tip for fellow graduates ‘Acergy provide the opportunities and it is up to you to grab these opportunities and experience something new and exciting.’ << BACK TO PREVIOUS PAGE
