There’s no doubt at all that high quality engineering is the key to project success in Acergy. Our engineers are critically involved throughout the lifecycle of all our projects – from tendering, design and construction onshore through to offshore installation and completion. Engineering expertise adds value on many fronts: by ensuring the rigorous management of risks; by adding innovation and creative thinking to secure project success. Every region in Acergy has its own dedicated engineering team. These are located in Paris, Aberdeen, Stavanger, Singapore, Houston and Rio De Janiero. The teams range in size, but are all growing, with our global engineering team currently comprising well over 600 professionals. We hire experienced professionals into a wide range of disciplines: pipelines, structural, naval, mechanical, flexibles, umbilicals and moorings, trunklines, commissioning, welding, materials, geotechnics and trenching, remote intervention, diving, installation and inspection, maintenance and repair. Every year, we also recruit graduate engineers in Stavanger, Aberdeen, Paris, Houston and Singapore, to complete our two-year Graduate Engineering Development Scheme.
