Graduate Engineers are fundamental to the progression and development of our engineering capabilities and through our industry-leading Graduate Engineer Development Scheme (GEDS) we ensure they are developed to be the best in the industry. GEDS is a two-year scheme and is fully accredited by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers in the UK. It has been developed and continually supported by Acergy Engineering experts. The scheme involves both on and off the job development and exposes Engineers to a variety of engineering disciplines and elements of project execution including dedicated offshore opportunities. The GEDS provides an environment which promotes and supports the development of your knowledge, skills and expertise. GEDS will take you on a developmental journey which will be challenging but will also be rewarding, exciting and fun. The GEDS comprises four main elements: Off-the-job training courses A series of training sessions on technical and non-technical subjects, delivered by Acergy experts offsite, where current participants are brought together to learn, develop and network On-the-job development Work placements vary and you could be allocated to a specific project, discipline or functional position Mentoring You are allocated a mentor to provide advice and guidance on your career development within Acergy Personal development You are given a series of tools to support you in planning your learning, development and your career path Our commitment: We continuously strive to:
