Central Principles

We are committed to providing a workplace where everyone is safe, healthy and secure, the environment is not harmed and our assets are not damaged. This is a core value of the Acergy Group and success is a high priority performance indicator.

Everyone at an Acergy managed worksite, whether an employee, a visitor or a subcontractor, is required to comply with our HSEQ and Security standards. Everyone working for Acergy has the obligation to comply with and to promote our HSEQ and Security policies; they will be supported in this by visible and effective Management commitment, involvement and support.

Our HSEQ and Security philosophy is based on international standards and promotes continual improvement. These standards include:

  • OSHAS 18001 for Occupational Health and Safety
  • ISO 14001 for Environmental Management
  • ISO 9001 for Quality

We have adopted international best practice to benchmark our Security standards. The Acergy Management System combines our procedures and management tools into a framework to help us set Group objectives and to allow us to review and assess our HSEQ and Security performance.

Day to day management of HSEQ and Security is a line management responsibility supported by our HSEQ professionals.
