Our safety vision is an incident free Acergy workplace, everywhere, everyday.

• No damage to the environment
• No damage to property, vessels or equipment

Acergy recognises that behaviour, or more accurately, 'at risk behaviours' feature in the majority of incidents that occur on worksites and seeks to address these within Acergy. In April 2009 Acergy introduced a Critical Safety Behaviours Campaign.

From December 2009 to January 2010 the Critical Safety Behaviours message was communicated through:

• 740 Safety Walks
• 996 Safety Contacts
• 161 HSES Inspections
• 423 Training Sessions
• 93 HSES Meetings
• 28,406 Tool Box Talk Attendance
• 41 HSES Audits

To reinforce these messages and our commitment to safety our management have been on more than 400 site visits in 2009 (to date).

One of the most significant safety measures in any organisation is Recordable injuries. The graph below shows the Acergy Recordable injury rate on a month by month basis (injuries per 200,000 man hours).
