Marcos Adriano is an Offshore Manager working on Acergy vessels in South America. Marcos has been with the group since 1989. “I was intrigued by Acergy from the moment I saw an advertisement for a mechanical engineer – who the company would train to dive. I loved learning to dive and I still love working at Acergy. Every day is different. A great challenge recently was removing, modifying and reinstalling the boom from one of our onboard cranes, to adapt it for client needs. Competitors had refused the request but with the help of the ship’s master – and good weather – we were successful.
