IMR And Construction Support Ship
The Normand Mermaid is a multi-purpose Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) and construction ship built in 2002. The ship is 90.1 m long and 20.5 m wide, and it has a fully dynamic positioning system, 100 t heave compensated crane and 765m2 deck space. The Normand Mermaid is equipped with two workclass ROV’s and a permanent installed heave compensated Module Handling System (MHS) for deployment and recovery of units through the ship’s moonpool.
