Survey ROV
Solo Mk II is a self-contained, 150 HP remotely operated survey vehicle. Based on twenty years experience of seabed mapping and pipeline inspection. Powerful and reliable, the Solo MK II has been modified and upgraded to meet the ever increasing demands of sub sea surveying. This high performance vehicle has a depth rating of up to 3000 m. It boasts exceptional thrust characteristics in all three planes, using nine thrusting units, which gives a horizontal speed of up to four knots. DNV certified, its frame is 4.90 m in length and 2.20 m in width, with a height of 2.40 m weighing 5.0 tonnes. It has payload of up to 1000 kgs over the standard ROV, depending on the customer's requirements. Comprising up to eight cameras, including three zoom SVHS cameras, one low light camera and one docking camera, the Solo Mk II offers exceptional video recording capabilities. For optimal vision, a tritech Pan and Tilt system has also been installed. The Solo MK II is fully equipped with highly accurate guidance monitoring and control sensors.
