When it comes to HSEQ, everyone in our organisation is expected to show responsible leadership. Wherever potential risks are identified it is not enough simply to report the problem – we expect everyone working with us to actively intervene. If our CEO set foot on the deck of a ship or barge without appropriate safety wear, for instance, the nearest deck hand would be expected and encouraged to intervene and counsel him.
