Volve Field Development

This complex project calls for the installation of flexible flowlines and a riser system, together with the installation of a mooring system for an STL buoy. It also comprises tow-out of the STL buoy, tie-in and pull-in operations, both diverless and diver-assisted, and also the trenching operation. The equipment involved is heavy and unwieldy and careful planning and technical expertise will be critical in bringing the project to a successful conclusion as it goes operational in 2006.
