Acergy Condor

The Acergy Condor was converted in 2000 and 2002 to a Class I high capacity Deepwater Construction Support Ship.

The ship has been extended by fitting a 30 m length mid-body section, increasing the pay load to 3000 tonnes. The extended ship has then been strengthened and outfitted for deepwater flexible pipelay. She can lay single flexible pipelines to 2000 m water depth and is capable of laying flexible pipelines, umbilicals and cables in 3 simultaneous streams in water depths to 1500 m.

The equipment will provide the following capabilities:

a) Storage of 2736 tonne flexible pipe.

b) Flexible pipeline, umbilical and cable lay in 3 simultaneous streams.

c) Deepwater manifold installation.

d) ROV intervention on wellhead manifolds down to 3000 m.
