Acergy Osprey
The Acergy Osprey is a 100 m class, diving support, construction ship with an established record of safe and effective operations. With impressive stationkeeping and high stability the Acergy Osprey has the highest possible rating for rough weather operations and has successfully undertaken all types of subsea construction, inspection, repair and maintenance work.
The Acergy Osprey is designed to perform various subsea work tasks. The ship is equipped with diesel electric propulsion with full redundancy throughout, which ensures that the ship can always remain in position and safely recover and support the divers, as well as subsea tools and equipment.
In early 2002 a new 150 tonne heave compensated crane was installed making the Acergy Osprey an even more versatile and efficient as a construction ship. The two cranes onboard can be operated for spool piece installation.
