Benguela Belize
Recently completed, Benguela Belize saw Acergy working as the main contractor with Daewoo for operator Chevron Texaco on this major project in Block 14. EPIC work included more than 100km of infield line pipelay – in various sizes from 10” right up to 24”. We also fabricated jumpers for the project at Sonamet in Lobito, Angola, installed PLEM and PLETS and undertook tie-ins and surveys. The project was carried out at depths of up to 400 metres, with many of our vessels heavily involved, including the Acergy Eagle, Acergy Falcon, Acergy Discovery, Acergy Polaris and Acergy Legend.
