EPIC delivery
Most of our activities fall within the area of Engineering, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning (EPIC) project delivery. Our experience in the field is second to none, especially in harsh and demanding conditions. Within the EPIC framework our operations can be further subdivided into distinct types.
Deepwater operations (SURF)
With our extensive experience of deepwater operations we are the preferred contractor of many leading Exploration and Production companies. We are expert in the design, installation and commissioning of subsea infrastructure, umbilical, riser and flowline systems (SURF). Activities in this area constitute the most significant proportion of our business.
Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR)
We provide a comprehensive range of subsea inspection, maintenance and repair services to keep oil and gas fields worldwide producing at optimum capacity. Our services include both diver and remotely operated vehicle inspection. We have a number of ongoing long-term maintenance contracts with leading operators, and also provide on demand call-out services where required.
Conventional Field Development
Our deepwater expertise is complemented by conventional construction skills and capabilities that help our clients solve complex hydrocarbon extraction and field development problems, together with pipeline installation tie-ins. We also provide, in certain locations, fabrication of platform jackets and topsides providing strong links with local communities and increased local employment in these countries.
Trunkline expertise
Acergy remains at the forefront of trunkline installation. We operate the worlds largest and most successful semi-submersible pipelay barge, the Acergy Piper. We have an outstanding track record of achievement gained worldwide. With the ability to install the largest of trunklines in the most challenging of conditions we currently hold the record for the longest trunkline installation of 862km for the Norfra pipeline between Norway and France.
