David Bowman, Offshore
David Bowman first joined Acergy in 1994 and has held a variety of roles on several different vessels. He became Offshore Manager on the Acergy Falcon in 2004.
“Days can be long and sometimes frustrating – but successfully producing an offshore asset can be a tremendously rewarding experience. The offshore industry, and Acergy’s involvement with it, has taken me to all corners of the globe – with recent and upcoming involvement in projects in the Gulf of Mexico, the North Sea, West Africa and Australia. Recently the Acergy Falcon was working in Bass Strait, Australia, on the Santos Casino project. I must admit I enjoyed the scenery – watching the surfers at play while we were busy laying pipe for the project.”
