Development

People are central to our success

Our vision is to be the acknowledged leader in seabed-to-surface engineering and construction and we need talented people to help us get there. We work hard to attract and retain the best people – we want them to choose us ahead of our competitors. We aspire to be the “Employer of Choice” in our industry. We believe we have a lot to offer – and that offer starts with development. We aim to give each employee at least five days a year of development.

Our learning and development framework

The focus on development starts from your very first day, with our induction process. Development continues throughout your career, taking many forms – from secondments, special projects and coaching to professional technical training and internal and external learning programmes. Our Learning and Development framework allows us to take a consistent approach to development for the group as a whole.

Programmes for success

Programmes developed at group level are designed to address development issues relevant to everyone, including leadership, project management, engineering and offshore management. Functional programmes focus on career development for specific groups. Each region also has its own training and development initiatives to take account of regional priorities.
