Dumbarton
Awarded in November 2005, Acergy was contracted to provide subsea installation services to Maersk Oil North Sea UK Limited for the development of the Dumbarton field in the UK Sector of the North Sea. Dumbarton is a redevelopment of the previously abandoned Donan Field.
Phase 1 of the development comprises 5 production and 1 water disposal wells tied back to the Global Producer III (GPIII), a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel, and a 10.5 km 6-inch gas export flow line to the NSP MacCulloch FPSO. The Dumbarton drill centre being located some 2.2 km to the North East of the GPIII FPSO location.
