Gilles Lafaye
Gilles Lafaye was appointed VP for Acergy South America in January 2008 and has full responsibility for commercial and operational activity in the region. He joined the Group in 1981 as Design Engineer in Marseille. During his 27 years with the Group, Gilles has held various positions in projects and operations including 6 years in Stavanger Norway, followed by construction projects management in West Africa, Azerbaijan, Middle East. He also held the position of Director of SURF Projects for Africa & Mediterranean. He recently concluded successfully as Project Director, Greater Plutonio SURF project, the largest EPCI project ever carried out by Acergy.
