Preparing your CV
Before submitting your CV here are a few tips to bear in mind:
Use your CV to make you sound interesting so that people want to meet you to find out more. Your CV must make your skills and your achievements accessible to the reader and relevant. Present your experience and education in reverse chronological order – most recent first. An introductory personal profile that sums up your skills and experience and explains the type of job you are looking for works well.

The accompanying covering letter should highlight the relevance of your CV, answer points raised in the job advertisement and show enthusiasm for the role.
If you are called for interview
Remember – an interview is your chance to showcase your skills, abilities and personality. We want to know what you have been doing, and what you are capable of, so make sure this comes across in your answers. Think about questions that are likely to come up and rehearse your answers as far as possible. Likely questions include:
Prepare some questions of your own to ask too. This demonstrates your interest in the role and the organisation and shows that you have done your research and considered your career options.
Immediate acknowledgment of your application
To be kept regularly informed of the progress of your application
To be given reasons if your application is turned down at any point
