Acergy is a global business, a growing business and a changing business. Not surprisingly, our Information Management Services function (IMS) faces two distinct, but vitally linked challenges: first, the need to provide day-to-day IMS services and support; second, to meet the almost insatiable demand for delivery of complex change-management projects.
To make sure we give every challenge the focus it deserves; and to help us prioritise as effectively as possible; we divide the IMS function into three ‘Virtual teams’ – each of which is geographically dispersed and focused on a specific discipline.
IMS Operations brings together professionals with broad spectrum IT skills to provide focused IMS support for our business. IMS Engagement draws on the strengths and expertise of experienced business analysts and project managers to ensure effective implementation of ‘the right solutions to the right problems’. IMS Technical provides critical operational support and technical project assistance to the IMS Engagement team.
For all professionals joining the IMS function in any capacity, Acergy offers the chance to experience a range of challenges and to ‘add value’ to the business.
