Acergy Northern Europe and Canada won the coveted ‘Commitment to People Development’ prize at this year’s Northern Star Business Awards.
This award recognises the company that has shown the most commitment to developing its staff through skills and personal development, and celebrates its achievements in recruitment, staff retention and business achievements.
The key initiatives that have resulted in recognition for Acergy include the Engineer Development Scheme, the Project Manager Programme and the Leadership Development Programme. Earlier this year, Acergy added an Engineering Management Development Programme and a Conversion Programme for non-subsea engineers to its suite of learning and development programmes.
Schemes introduced such as Graduate Engineer Development Scheme (GEDS) as well as Commercial Graduate Scheme aim to ensure Acergy is amongst the leaders in recruiting and retaining talented employees at all levels.
