Pertinacia
The Pertinacia, a DP2 flexible pipelay and subsea construction ship joined the Acergy fleet during 2007.
The Pertinacia is a flexible pipelay ship servicing a long term contract with Petrobras in Brazil and is one of the most advanced flexlay and subsea construction ships available. At a length overall of 129.9 m, with a flexlay capability of up to 340 mt lay tension, flexible product storage capacity of up to 2400 mt, a crane with 30 mt payload at 2000 m and a large clear work deck area.
This dynamically positioned, RINA Classed flexlay and subsea construction she has accommodation for up to 77 persons. Capabilities include flexlay installation and subsea structure installation in water depths of 2000 m.
